Micro Weddings at The Stagecoach Inn

The event industry has experienced a huge shift over the past few months. Due to social distancing requirements, some of my couples have had to postpone or change their wedding plans. Many brides and grooms-to-be are thinking about their upcoming celebrations in a new light and considering the benefits of a smaller wedding. For couples who want a bigger event than a live-streamed elopement, there is another option.

The term “micro wedding” has been around for a few years. More elaborate than eloping, micro weddings are intimate celebrations that offer all the time-honored traditions of a wedding, but with a guest count of fifty or fewer. My venue, The Stagecoach Inn in Goshen, New York, specializes in intimate weddings. We have hosted many since we renovated the historic property and opened in 2016. With a range of elegant dining rooms and an expansive lawn, the Inn is uniquely suited to host small events that make a big impact.

There are many advantages to choosing a micro wedding. With only close family and friends in attendance, couples enjoy more quality time and genuine connections with their guests. It is also easier to create a more personalized experience for each wedding guest. Some couples choose a micro wedding to keep their day low key, while others take advantage of a larger budget per guest and pull out all the stops.

  • Farm tables, linens, and votives.

  • A two-night stay in one of the Superior King rooms, the night before and night of the wedding.

We curated this package to help our couples save time and reduce the stress of wedding planning. They can enjoy a relaxing wedding weekend in the Margo or Hickok room, and save travel time on their special day. We handpicked our most-beloved food and beverage packages for dinner or brunch options. With the historic setting and our detailed interiors, adding simple floral decor is the perfect final touch.
